engagement sessions!

So since some of my dear friends are getting married soon, I’ve been able to practice shooting couples by doing a few engagement sessions! These were the first ones I’ve ever done, so it was a great learning experience. Excited to keep developing my photo skills!

I’m Back!

Hey everyone!

Well, I made it back to the States last week and had a little chance to recover from the jet lag. What an amazing trip we had! I don’t even want to know how many photos I took – but all I can say is that everything completely exceeded my expectations. I loved so much about this trip, but to spare you all the details, my top 3 things were getting to see Johanna and meet her family in Freiburg, hiking by the Matterhorn in Switzerland and sketching by the Seine on the Ilé de Louis in Paris.

The Freedom Project

Hey errybody! Just wanted to share with you my photography portfolio project! I got to spend 8 weeks shooting for my theme, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I call it “The Freedom Project” – I wanted to take a personal look at how the light of the gospel sets us free! I chose to use two images for each work to represent how the truth of Christ (light) stops us in our tracks and then how we can stand fearlessly in that freedom that is found in truth. Thanks SO MUCH to everyone who helped out with this! All photos were taken with an Ultra Wide & Slim 35mm toy camera. If you want to read more about the concept, my artist statement is here.
